The COVID-19 pandemic, which has turned life upside down in our country since March as well as all over the world, also affects the law. In this context, measures such as imposing curfew restrictions on those over the age of 65 and under the age of 20 and those with chronic illnesses; implementing general curfew restrictions on weekends; banning intercity travel; closing restaurants, cafes, baths, gyms, etc. for certain periods of time; banning dismissals; and punishing those who do not comply with the restrictions with administrative fines can be seen as reflections of the pandemic both in our daily lives and in our law. However, unlike many countries, it can be said that publications on the impact of COVID-19 on the field of law are very few in our country. In addition, it is also seen that the majority of the publications are in the field of private law, and the effects of the pandemic on public law are handled much more limitedly. In this study titled "The Impact of COVID-19 on the Turkish Legal System", unlike the general trend, the effects of the pandemic on public law are predominantly examined. Moreover, what makes the study unique is the fact that the articles included in it were written by undergraduate students studying at various law faculties. It is admirable that future jurists make legal evaluations of current problems and publish their evaluations. I have no doubt that their enthusiasm for their work will continue to increase, and I congratulate them.
