Surrounded By Obstacles

I was old enough to know the power of money. It not only removed every obstacle, it also prevented those who did not have it from living properly. Money provided exclusivity, priority, superiority as well as intelligence for the stupid, character for the characterless, unlimited power for the weak, good looks for the ugly, honour for the thieves, and friends for those who could not find any by themselves. But if everyone had money, the stupid would remain stupid, ugly would remain ugly, and the characterless would remain characterless so they would be together with people like themselves. Since everyone would have the same wealth, I will leave you with the question whether there would be any thefts or not…
